Responsibilities

• Performs code reviews and ultimately upgrades the team standard by training them to perform peer reviews • Ensures that SOLID principles are followed, meaning he must be able to highlight how they are not being followed and what changes to make to follow them. • Looks into places where things are stuck or performance is poor and resolves the code issues. We are not going to change tech stack for this; he must be capable of upgrading the code or making the team correct the code related problems. • Pay attention to JSON formats where inter-service communications are involved. • Knowledge of networking domain would be helpful of course. And so would experience with high volume data handling - 100s of millions of rows in a table, large number of inserts per secondOptimizing code to use lesser queries.
