Business Analyst

We are looking for candidate with good knowledge on Passenger service system (Navitaire, Amadeus, Sabre) – for managing reservations, ticketing, departure control, etc., Revenue Management, Flight Operations, Schedules, Experience in Reservation/Booking engine etc., Airlines Regulatory Compliance & Security (IATA, DGCA) , Global Distribution system (GDS)

Responsibilities

* Lead business analysis efforts to identify and prioritize business requirements, and develop business cases to support recommendations
* Develop and implement business solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth
* Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders, including airline operations, customer service, and revenue management teams
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives
* Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to address operational issues
* Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, procedures, and standards
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
* Mentor and guide junior business analysts to ensure successful project delivery
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airline executives, operations teams, and customer service teams
* Provide thought leadership and expertise in the airline industry, including airline operations, revenue management, and customer service

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field
* 4+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role in the airline industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Strong understanding of airline operations, including scheduling, revenue management, and customer service
* Certification in a related field, such as Six Sigma or CBAP, is a plus
* Experience with airline industry-specific software, such as Sabre or Amadeus
* Knowledge of airline industry regulations and standards, such as IATA or FAA
