Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues in collaboration with the Level 1 support team.
• Respond to escalated incidents and Service Request s within defined SLAs.
• Investigate and diagnose complex network and application issues, providing root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential network and application performance issues.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for network infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including systems administrators, database administrators, and application developers, to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Plan and execute regular patching and firmware update activities for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
